Beyond Cycling Challenge 2026

In March 2026, Craig Petersen will embark on the challenge of cycling 750 kilometres over five days and climbing more than 12,000 metres through the Adelaide Hills—to support a charity that is changing young lives: TRACTION.

TRACTION empowers disengaged and at-risk young people through evidence-based mentoring and hands-on learning. Its programs, including bike-building initiatives, help young people develop practical skills, confidence, and connection. Since 2015, TRACTION has supported thousands of young people to re-engage with education and build pathways toward a positive future.

Youth disengagement remains a significant challenge across Australia, with 1 in 10 young people disengaging from education. At the same time, early intervention services face critical funding gaps—despite being proven to change outcomes.

By supporting this ride, you are investing in early intervention that works. Every donation directly funds TRACTION’s mentorship and life-changing programs. We are proud to be riding for an organisation that helps young people discover their potential, rebuild confidence, and find a sense of purpose.
