Project Scope

Located within the Bellvista Estate near Caloundra, the Bellcarra Retirement Resort is a thriving community designed for comfort, connection, and contemporary living. Checkpoint Constructions was proud to be part of the community centre refresh project, which included the fitout of over 650 sqm of space.

The community centre refurbishment features a welcoming entry with automatic sliding doors, improving accessibility and flow throughout the space. The reimagined reception area connects seamlessly to a newly refurbished office, meeting room, library, hair salon, and gym.

The charming community hall has been renewed with natural wood panelling, timber ceiling battens, cozy lounge areas, and a fully modernised bar and kitchen, providing a comfortable and versatile space for events and gatherings.

Reconfiguration works have optimised the building layout, including the creation of a multi-purpose room complete with built-in cabinetry and a kitchenette. Flooring grades – incorporating new vinyl and carpet – deliver a fresh, contemporary look, while new lighting, ceiling acoustic features, and internal and external painting elevate the overall aesthetic and experience for residents.
